What is Berean Baptist College's goal for a student?

     Berean Baptist College is a ministry of the local church.  Thus the purpose of this college is the same as set forth by Berean Baptist Church.  This purpose is found in Ephesians 4:11-13.

     And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; {12} For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: {13} Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Setting the goal

     In order to accomplish this goal, we are to contend for the faith as stated in Jude 1:3:  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. We are providing the finest in academic curriculum, as well as varied opportunities of Christian service through the ministries of Berean Baptist Church.

Setting the pace

     Our faculty and staff set the pace and example in Christian service. Every student is trained to carry out the Great Commission through the local church. As a student of Berean Baptist College, one will be taught to win the lost, walk the aisle with converts for baptism, and teach them to observe the commandments of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Every student will be taught the “faith which was once delivered unto all saints” and to contend for that faith. As a student of Berean Baptist College, one will be taught to be a balanced Christian servant capable of having an effective ministry in any area of Christian service.  We are here to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry.

     Berean Baptist College is not for everyone. We are looking for the best of the best in every church so that we can build upon the foundation already laid by parents, pastors, and teachers, thus equipping young people for the work of the ministry. Every student will be able to enjoy the finest in academics with the admixture of practical training through the local church.
