Because Berean Baptist College is a ministry of the local church, the purpose of this college is the same as set forth by Berean Baptist Church.  This is found in Ephesians 4:11-13  "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; {12} For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: {13} Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:"  In order to accomplish this goal, we are to contend for the faith as stated in Jude 1:3:  "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." We are providing the finest in academic curriculum, as well as varied opportunities of Christian service through the ministries of Berean Baptist Church.

Our faculty and staff sets the pace and example in Christian service. Every student is trained to carry out The Great Commission through the local church. As a student of Berean Baptist College, you will be taught to win the lost, walk the aisle with converts for baptism, and teach them to observe the commandments of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Every student will be taught the “faith which was once delivered unto all saints”  and to contend for that faith.  As a student of Berean Baptist College, you will be taught to be a balanced Christian servant capable of effective ministry in any area of Christian service.  We are here to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry.

Berean Baptist College consists of three unique and specialized schools of training. Preachers will be trained in the School of the Bible in the old time religion.  Missionaries will be trained in the School of Missions to carry the Gospel to  “. . . Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."  Christian School teachers will be trained in the School of Education to “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”  Students will have the opportunity to earn a three-year diploma, or to work toward a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree while enrolled in Berean Baptist College.
