Actively Participate in Changing Lives

The ministry of the Lord is people, and the greatest way to serve God is by serving others. Here at Berean Baptist College, we believe not only in teaching you how to grow in your Christian life, but also in helping you grow and teach as well as serve others. One of the best tools for hands-on training that we have is the multitude of opportunities to be involved in the ministries of Berean Baptist Church.

Some of the areas that our student body is currently involved in are as follows:

1.  Bus Ministry

In this ministry, students are able to play many roles in working on the bus route. From visiting the children on Saturday to picking them up on Sunday morning, there is never a dull moment in this ministry. There are opportunities to lead singing, help children across the street, act as the bus secretary, preach, as well as being able to touch the lives of these young children and show them the love they have been craving all week.

2.  Soulwinning Club

At Berean Baptist College, we are excited about seeing souls saved every week in our soulwinning club. This dedicated group of students go out on Saturday mornings, as well as other times throughout the week, spreading the Gospel and inviting people to church.

3.  Bible Clubs

The goal of the Bible Clubs ministry is to reach out to the teenagers in our city and teach them how to grow in their personal walks with God. College students visit the teens on Saturdays, plan out activities to spend time with them and mentor them, and on Sundays sit with them in the church services and encourage attendance and activeness.

4.  Nursing Home Ministry

In the Nursing Home ministry, students have the opportunity to share the Gospel with people in many assisted-living facilities in our area. Preaching, leading singing, and playing the piano are a few of the opportunities to serve in the Nursing Home ministry.

5.  Deaf Ministry

For any student who knows or may be interested in learning sign language, the deaf ministry provides ample opportunity for students to interact with the deaf through interpreting for the services, as well as the song services.

6.  Nursery

There are several opportunities on Sundays for college ladies to watch the smaller children during the services. What a blessing it is to be able to give adults the opportunity to listen to the Gospel in the services while you tend to their children.

7.  Sunday School Teachers

The students at Berean Baptist College are actively involved in the Sunday School Department at Berean Baptist Church. Children and teenagers of all ages are grouped into various departments where students are given the opportunity to teach and have a profound influence in these younger children.

8.  Kids' Klub

In the Kids' Klub ministry of Berean Baptist Church, college students have the opportunity to interact with children through singing and preaching. This specific ministry is geared toward teaching children character and principles through the preaching and singing.
